Weldon Francis Shannon ~ 40 yrs old

This is my husband's cousin & he was lost in a tragic accident on Friday night. He left behind his wife, Darla (15 yrs or so), his mom & step father, a sister and 3 brothers. The family needs prayer for strength at this time ~ please join us!
My prayer is for salvation for some and that my Savior would be glorified in this sad situation.
One note ~ I read in my devotions the other day that God's perfect timing is when His love and righteousness come into harmony. I've never heard that before and I was thinking the wait of God's answer a specific prayer request of mine that I've prayed about over the years.

Look what I did...

Okay, Cliffton had to come stop me before I bore holes in the new floor!

~eek~
Putting up the shelf keeps things from being scattered all over the washer/dryer...
(Cliffton painted it for me to match the trim on the windows)
No curtains yet; just not sure what I'm doin'!

We won't be online for a while...

It's been a very stressful time for all with our huge move and it has exhausted all of our savings. We won't be online for a short time. Satellite internet as all that is offered in that small area other than dial up. Since my course starts in Sept, we must try to get something a bit more trustworthy than dial up. So, it may take some time!

I'll be back soon ladies with pics of the new house!

A mouse in the yard & mother's day...

We went to the new place the day before Mother's day just to walk around the yard so says my honey...
I got annoyed at Kash for dressing like we're going to some kind of party or something... I see her disappointment and I persist in pointing out that her shoes are not very practical for the yard! ~hmmm~

Cliff asks us to stop the arguing and Kasha changes in obedience to me... She's sweet most of the time. ;)

We take Maisy down to the water and we are really getting dirty and enjoying ourselves...

We climb the hill from the river and not before stepping in some...

...of this!
~yuck~

Maisy doesn't mind, though!

Yeah, we had a great time!
But just before leaving Kash says "look, a mouse!"
and I excitedly asked, "ooooh, is it alive?"

Needless to say, she got a huge chuckle!

~blush~

After stepping in mud and tramping thru the woods, Cliff announced they were taking me to a restaurant "Moonlight Cafe" just mins from the new place.
~eek~
I graciously wiped the mud off my sneakers, went to supper and had a clam platter... Yes, it was great, even with dirty shoes! ;0)
Thanks Cliff and Kasha for making my mother's day memorable!

Only 6 more sleeps...

SOLD!
Here is my personal landscaper ~ making plans!

This is a beautiful apple tree in front of a gorgeous cedar hedge ~ the apple tree is in some real need of pruning and one season will not do!

This is a line of evergreens that are very tall and lovely ~ they give us the added privacy for the front yard...

Here is the side enterance leading to the kitchen ~ yes, I'll have tea on just in case you come by! ;)

Here are the supplies to finish the porch.

Cliffton is looking for a spot to plant a garden, I think ~ he's pretty excited & very thankful too!

The little shed in the back...

Looking down onto the river ~ Man, it's pretty!
Thank you so much, Lord...
This is the back of the house and it's ready for a deck ~ and they left supplies for it too; isn't God good?
One of my favorite features ~ a bird house.

This is the front yard with another apple tree.

Here is our parked car ~ we dont' live here yet, but we've sure visited plenty since it's on the way to and from church! ;)
This is another angle of the front yard ~ looks like a pool sat here.

And finally ~ head on!
We have a lot of plans for the porch and plant material to dress it up. I'll post pics as soon as possible!
***by the way, the tea will be on what ever door you choose to use***

F'ton other areas of NB underwater...

There are those effected by this tragedy in our church congregation. One elderly couple that I can think of at this present time had to have help come yesterday to relieve them. They live in a low lying area near the SJ River and this isn't their first experience with flooding. Please help me pray for the Silvers and others. I drove by yards with basement belongings piled high in the driveway of many, I witnessed others boating to their sheds to save what they could...
A huge danger in this kind of disaster is electricity and this is an extra financial burden on the flood victims ~ it is necessary to have the hydro disconnected before leaving and then hire an electrician come do an inspection before NB hydro can reconnect for the already burdened family.
Please pray for these struggling with this disaster on home and life...
