Here Are Some of the Wonderful Preachers...

I've had the privivedge to hear in my early Christian walk! Now, remember ~ I said, "some"... There werea great many others!
Dr Moritz taught us about Holiness ~ being set apart for God's use! Because it is written, be ye Holy; for I am Holy. (1 Pet 1:16)

Dr Jordan taught me no matter what your background, you could love God, live for Him and bring up your children to love and honor God with their lives! My all time favorite example is that of Joseph in the book of Genesis... I wished I could be more like him!

Then there was Dr Nelson, teaching how important it was to spend time with God everyday... Search the scriptures daily just as those in the early churches. (Acts 17:11)

Sorry Sara....

But I needed a change, something to pick me up and my posts won't fit on everything; my letters run into one another. I hope you don't mind if I use this template for while! I can't get into your site, by the way... :(

Philippians 4:13 ~ through Christ which strengthens me!

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs.

But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.
I rec'vd this from one of my aunts ~ I liked it so thought I'd share! oX's

The Mountains ~ Banff AB

These are very deep and built so the herds of wildlife can pass over the hiways without getting bothered by the traffic.

Taste and see that the Lord is good...

These waters are so emerald green, you can see right to the bottom but when we were there, there had been some flooding and silt had made the waters milky in color.

I took most of the pics from the car window so if there are spots, it might be bird poop! Sorry...

Looking down from the top of the mountains ~ the gondola took us up in Golden BC. We took a day to do that...

isn't our God awesome,

& wonderful to allow us this priviledge?

Again from the car...

From the top...

Looking down on Banff AB.

Banff AB

From our tent on the back side...

Driving along and just taken with the beauty!

Again...

Gorgeous, eh? I thank my God for giving us the awesome opporunity to see some of His handiwork...

Stunt Momma...

Yep, you heard it here ~ I can do stunts! While we were camping in Buffalo Pound Park in Moose Jaw SK, we decided to go for a little walk around some of the park. We soon came upon a play ground and I told Cliff to go ahead and get on the swing and I'll take some pictures of he and Kash. He declined and encouraged me to go ahead... I did and had the grand idea of doing a big jump from the swing. Yes, I know now that sounds like a dumb idea... Kasha said I got a very serious look on my face and when I jumped, she's right it quickly turned to fear and insecurity ~ these bones/joints are not as strong as when I was nine yrs old, I thought... With that look, I hit the ground and I started to feel the ground scraping my skin ~ it hurt so I decided to do, you guessed it, a stunt roll... I landed and could hear Kash, asking "are you okay, mom?" I didn't answer. I was busy praising God for the landing. Yes, both my upper limbs were in front of me and in tact... But they did remind one of some poor animal that got hit by a vehicle. But I was okay! But I wasn't going to be ~ my husband was laughing and he wasn't letting up. I begged him to stop but he just couldn't...
I started to laugh now and you guessed it ~ I, not only failed to perform the big jump, bruised my ego, and peed my pants. Oh, and I had to walk thru the camp ground with a huge wet spot on my bum! On the way back, I asked if Cliffton took a movie? He said, no but wished he had ~ we could have sent it off to funniest videos and maybe won $10,000! Oh well, maybe next time ~ of course, I'm kidding! ~wink~

Dog River SK ~ Corner Gas

On location of Corner Gas in Dog River SK (aka Rouleau SK)

The Donallys at the Ruby...

Kash & momma going in to look around ~ just kidding the place is locked up tight, like Fort Knocks!

...but there is a pane of glass out to take a pic of the inside.

Kash & Dad at the pumps!

Momma & Kash at the location of Corner Gas...

Look, it's the Foo Mar t in Dog River SK!

The Hotel in Dog River ~ it's really a functional bar inside.

Inside the Police Station, it's a gift shop, where you can sign the guest book, as I did...

Stick a pin in the map ~ where am I from, anyway? SK or NB???

..and you can sign the wall, as we all did.

The Police Station in Dog River across the street from the Foo Mar t...

Kash & I in front of Emma and Oscar's house...

And finally, the trailers and vehicles used in the TV show, Corner Gas ~ look, it's Hank's truck!
We had a lot of fun and I understand more of the comedy now that I'm experiencing "the Prairies"... Almost everyone does own/drive a truck with a cracked windshield!
~wink~

Really, concentrate, you two...

Looking back, just off the ground at the Kicking Horse Resort...

Looking down at a Grizzly Bear ~ it's easy, we're up here in the gondola. Ah, did you hear a creek??? ~yikes~
Ah, isn't our God a great Creator ~ what an Artist!
..to be continued!
